CoreConnections Partners was founded by me, Marguerite Walz, on the premise that the closer we connect to our core values, our purpose and the greater good, the more we will thrive.
Taking this principle to a more practical level... when professional or organizational values, goals and processes are misaligned from our purpose, we don't perform to our highest potential. She believes meaningful connection to purpose and each other along with a supporting ecosystem makes or breaks success.
Working in HR for almost 30 years, Marguerite has advised hundreds of leaders and teams across the globe - from board members and c-suite leaders to emerging talent - in every aspect of people leadership. Marguerite has worked in regional and global businesses and across multiple industries leading large, global HR teams with GE, Akzo Nobel (formerly ICI Paints) and Swagelok. Since 2009, she has been a board advisor, executive board member, mentor, and ambassador for Ronald McDonald Charities of Northeast Ohio.
Marguerite's diverse, yet comprehensive and deep understanding into what makes organizations, leaders and boards successful enables her to create an experience that engages each client to be introspective about their unique life story, expertise, contributions and aspirations. Meaningful connection to purpose and each other along with an ecosystem that supports those two makes or breaks success.
Marguerite is a Certified Coach through the Coaching Training Alliance. She holds a master's degree in public administration from the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy, University at Albany - SUNY, and a bachelor's degree in political science from the University at Albany - SUNY.
